Fill in the order form with your dog's details, any health concerns and three photos of their face (front, side and from above). We'll check a custom muzzle is right for your dog, then email you our measurement guide.
No. Just reply to your invitation email and we'll take it from there.
Not always. Every muzzle is custom, but some dogs aren't suited to wearing a muzzle at all because of their health or the structure of their face and skull. That's why we check your photos and any health concerns before confirming your order.
No. We started with brachycephalic breeds like Albie, but every muzzle is built from scratch, so we're not limited to one face shape. Send us your dog's photos and we'll let you know honestly whether a custom muzzle is right for them.
Only once your measurements are accepted. We'll send you an invoice, which you pay by bank transfer, and then the design starts.
It depends on your dog and how the fit checks go, so we don't give a fixed date. We'll keep you updated at every stage.
£160 per dog. That covers a complete custom build, two fitting prototypes, your final muzzle, a fit check after each prototype, and UK postage on all three.
Every muzzle is designed from scratch for one dog, and we make three pieces for each order: two fitting prototypes and your final muzzle, with a fit check at each stage. That takes time and materials, but it's how we get the fit right for dogs who don't suit standard sizes. And there's no factory: every muzzle is made by hand at our home.
Extra prototypes are £20 each. We'll always check with you before making one.
Yes. UK postage is included on both prototypes and your final muzzle.
No. We post prototypes and final muzzles anywhere in the UK. If you're local to us, we can also fit prototypes in person.

Once we've checked your photos, we'll email you our measurement guide. It shows you each measurement and the photos we need.
That's very common. Do your best with our guide. Prototype one checks your measurements, and we'll adjust anything that was off.
Test versions of your dog's muzzle, printed in rigid PLA with temporary straps. They let us check the fit on your dog before your final muzzle is made.
Yes, but they're temporary straps, just for checking the fit. Your final muzzle comes with its full set of straps, fitted by hand.
Through our testing, two rounds gives the most accurate fit: the first checks the measurements, the second confirms every change before your final muzzle is made.
After each prototype, you send us photos, a short video and your answers to our fit checklist. We use them to adjust the design.
No. Prototypes are for fitting and practice at home. For walks, please wait for your final strong, flexible TPU muzzle.
Yes. They're yours to keep, and they're handy for muzzle training at home.
No. Every muzzle is a complete custom build, designed from scratch around your dog's own measurements. We never alter an off-the-shelf muzzle.
TPU is a strong, flexible and durable material. It flexes with your dog's movement and returns to shape.
Final muzzles are black TPU. Straps come in black as standard, or you can choose sky blue, teal, sage green, orange or cerise pink at no extra cost. Just pick your colour on the order form. Colours can look slightly different on screen.
We design for room to breathe and pant, and the prototype stage lets us check the fit on your dog. Every dog is different, so if your dog has breathing difficulties, please speak to your vet first.
Muzzles are for supervised periods, like walks, vet visits or grooming, not all-day wear. Build up time gradually with positive training.
You do. Before each use, check the muzzle sits comfortably and the straps are secure. If anything changes, stop using it and get in touch.
Not at all. Many dogs wear muzzles for vet visits, grooming, scavenging or legal reasons. Muzzle training is a positive, responsible step for any dog.
We're in the UK. We're a one-person studio, and every muzzle is designed, 3D printed and finished by hand at our home.
No. The Muzzle Studio is a one-person studio, not a factory. Every design is thought through for one dog, and every muzzle is made at our home, one at a time.
