How It Works
Every muzzle we make is a complete custom build — designed from a blank page around your dog's own measurements, never an off-the-shelf muzzle that's been altered. Here's exactly what happens, from your order to your final muzzle.

Six stages, two fitting prototypes, and one muzzle made for one dog.
You send us a few clear photos of your dog's face and tell us about any health concerns. We use these to make sure a custom muzzle is right for your dog. If it is, we confirm your order and send our measurement guide.
Using our guide, you measure your dog — nose length, width, circumference, cheek width and more — and send photos from a few set angles. Together they give us a real picture of your dog's face.
We know dogs can be tricky to measure, especially spicy pups. Don't worry if it isn't perfect — that's exactly what prototype one is for. Once your measurements are accepted, we take payment and start your design.
We build a 3D model around your dog's measurements — not a resized template. We plan for room to breathe and pant, treat access and strap placement. For flat-faced breeds, that means carefully working around their facial structure. This is the longest part of the process, and the most important.

Your first prototype is printed in rigid PLA with temporary straps. It tells us whether the measurements are accurate, and lets us make changes if one was off. We post it to you, or fit it in person if you're local to us.
It also gives you time to muzzle train and practise with your dog in a fun, relaxed way at home. When you're ready, send us photos, a short video and our quick fit checklist.

Your second prototype contains all the changes we agreed from the first. It lets you be 100% certain before we make your final muzzle. If you'd still like more fine-tuning, extra prototypes are £20 each.

Your final muzzle is printed in strong, flexible TPU — each print takes up to two days. Straps and hardware are fitted by hand, then every muzzle is inspected before it's packed and sent to you.
£160 per dog includes your design, both prototypes, your final muzzle and UK postage on all three. Pricing & orders →
It all started with Albie, our Boston Terrier. His first muzzle was our very first design. Every muzzle since has been shaped by what we've learned — from Albie, and from our founding dogs.

“Through thorough testing, we believe this is the most accurate method — and the way to a muzzle you and your dog love.”
| Prototype | Final muzzle | |
|---|---|---|
| Material | Rigid PLA | Strong, flexible TPU — tough enough for everyday wear |
| Straps | Temporary, to confirm the size | Finished straps, fitted by hand |
| Purpose | Checking the fit and muzzle training at home | Everyday wear |
Lots of dogs do brilliantly in off-the-shelf muzzles. They're made to fit a typical face shape — which works for many dogs, but not always for flat-faced breeds or dogs with unusual features. That's who we're here for.

We believe every dog deserves to feel safe, comfortable and understood. Here's how we think about muzzles.
Dogs wear muzzles for all sorts of reasons — vet visits, grooming, scavenging on walks, recovering from treatment, legal requirements or simply peace of mind. A muzzled dog isn't a "bad" dog. It's a dog with a thoughtful owner.
A muzzle should be something your dog is happy to wear. Introduce it slowly with treats, praise and short sessions. Prototype one gives you time to do this at home before your final muzzle arrives.
Muzzles are for supervised use. Never leave your dog alone while wearing one, and take it off if your dog seems distressed, too hot or is struggling to breathe or pant.
If your dog is anxious or reactive, a muzzle works best alongside support from a qualified trainer or behaviourist. If your dog has breathing difficulties, please speak to your vet before using any muzzle.
No. Every muzzle is a complete custom build, designed from scratch around your dog's own measurements. We never alter an off-the-shelf muzzle.
Not at all. Many dogs wear muzzles for vet visits, grooming, scavenging or legal reasons. Muzzle training is a positive, responsible step for any dog.
We design for room to breathe and pant, and the prototype stage lets us check the fit on your dog. Every dog is different, so if your dog has breathing difficulties, please speak to your vet first.
Every muzzle is designed from scratch for one dog, and we make two fitting prototypes before your final muzzle, with a fit check at each stage. That takes time and materials, but it's how we get the fit right for dogs who don't suit standard sizes.
Not always. Every muzzle is custom, but some dogs aren't suited to wearing a muzzle at all because of their health or the structure of their face and skull. That's why we check photos and any health concerns before confirming an order. If we don't think we can make a muzzle that's safe and comfortable for your dog, we'll tell you honestly, and you won't be charged.
Only once your measurements are accepted. Before that, we check your dog's photos and any health concerns to make sure a custom muzzle is right for them.
Yes — UK postage is included on both prototypes and your final muzzle.
That's very common. Do your best with our guide — prototype one checks your measurements, and we'll adjust anything that was off.
Through our testing, two rounds gives the most accurate fit: the first checks the measurements, the second confirms every change before your final muzzle is made.
Prototypes are for fitting and practice at home. For walks and everyday wear, please wait for your final strong, flexible TPU muzzle.
Muzzles are for supervised periods — like walks, vet visits or grooming — not all-day wear. Build up time gradually with positive training.
Yes — we post prototypes and final muzzles across the UK, with postage included. If you're local, we can also fit prototypes in person.
